With over a decade of experience in higher education, Jeremy McWells is a passionate advocate for students and education. Currently serving as the Director of Development (Fundraising) at a local university, Jeremy excels in securing major gifts by building strong relationships with alumni, faculty, corporations, and donors. Jeremy is also an active community leader, with a deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and creating impactful events.

As a former college admissions counselor, he has a deep understanding on what it takes for any student to find success on a college campus. His leadership has earned him features in the Los Angeles Times, ABC 7 News, and in Chaffey College’s 2024 “Be Chaffey “campaign. The ability Jeremy uses his platform on social media (@JayGoesToCollege) to inspire and connect with students across the country. He is dedicated to making higher education accessible and engaging, with a focus on soft skills, leadership, and personal growth.
